When do you have volunteer shifts?

• We have shifts, pending availability, Monday-Sunday from 9am-10:30am.
  

Can anyone under the age of 18 volunteer?

• Yes, anyone between the ages of 10-17 may volunteer with their parent or guardian present.

Can I complete community service hours at Dogs For Our Brave?

• Yes, you can record community service hours here.

Can groups volunteer?

• Yes, we can accommodate groups between 5-10 volunteers at a time.

Do I have to complete a background check to volunteer?

• Yes, for the safety of our volunteers, staff and dogs, we do require a background check.
  

Will I be able to interact with the dogs?

• While volunteers cannot handle dogs, we do save time for bonding and grooming at the end of a volunteer shift!

I am a current volunteer, do I need to redo my background check?

• No, the admin will submit that prerequisite for you! You will only renew it annually.
